The Venice International Film Festival 2011 organized by La Biennale will take place from 31 August to 10 September at the Venice Lido. There are several films in the program and many tributes to important figures who helped define the history of cinema. The prizes awarded at the Venice International Film Festival will be the Golden Lion for the best film, the Silver Lion for the best director, the Coppa Volpi for the best actor and actress and more.
